Served M/s Scindia Steam Navigation Company, 1972 1982. Served different Shipping Companies for about 16 years in various capacities, out of which about 10 years as Chief Engineer.
Served Marmugao Port Trust, Marmugao, Goa as Chief Engineer (Marine) Feb Nov 1983.
Served M/s Goa Shipyard Ltd., (Ship Builders, Ship Repair and Engineers) Vasco-da-Gama, Goa, Govt. of India undertaking, under Ministry of Defence Production, Nov 1983 to May 1998 in different capacities and left as Additional General Manager.

Papers Published:

Changing Prospects for Ship Repair Industry in India was presented and discussed at the National Seminar on Indias Competitive Participation in Ship Repair Industry A Global Enterprise held concurrently with Ninth National Convention of Marine Engineers Goa. (Oct 13-14, 1995) and was published in the Journal of the Institution of Engineers(India) (Vol 79, Jun 1998).
“Infrastructure for Iron Ore Handling in Ports” was presented at World Shipping Forum 2008 held at Chennai Jan 31-Feb 2, 2008 and was published in the Journal of the Institute of Marine Engineers(India) Vol.2.issue 12,November 2008.
“Antipiracy Measures-A Dynamic and continuous Process” was presented at National Seminar on “Piracy-The Solutions” organized by Dept.of Marine Engg.,Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering,Sriperumbudur,and was published in the Journal of the Institute of Marine Engineers (India) Vol.3.issue 5,April 2009.
