• Diploma in Electrical Engg. from State Board of Technical Education, Tamilnadu.
• Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunications Engg. from IAF.
• Passed Section A & Section B of Institution of Engineers (India).
• Passed M.Tech in Electrical Power Systems in First class with Distinction from JNTU, Hyderabad.
• Ph.D in Electrical Engineering - Anna University,Chennai

• Technical Experience in Airborne Radar of various Aircrafts of IAF for 15 yrs. (from 1973-88)
• Selected by UPSC and served in the DTE, Delhi administration for 7 months.
• Teaching experience in an Engineering College (1988 to till date)
• Joined Venkateswara College of Engineering, Sriperumbudur in September 89 and presently working as Professor & Head, Dept. of Electrical and Electronics Engg.,
  

• In Basin Bridge Thermal Power Station as trainee for 1 year.
• Training in IAF in Radar Installations for 1 year, Maintenance courses in various aircrafts such as MI-8 Helicopter, AVRO HS-748, Canberra etc., GST & Management course in IAF.
  

• Has been examiner for Electrical Engineering students, theory and practical subjects for various universities.
• Has been setting papers for Electrical Engineering subjects for other Universities and autonomous institutions.
• Has acted as Chairman for EEE Board of Anna University Central Valuation and other Universities

• Presented a paper entitled, Quality control of “Power Apparatus through NDT Measurement & evaluation” in 14th World conference on NDT in December 96.
• Presented paper entitled, “IDENTIFICATION AND LOCATION OF BREAKDOWN IN WIND” in International Conference proceeding held at IEEE,USA OCT 2003.
